Number 19 is my former family home, now open to guests visiting Leeds for a few days or a little longer.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Chapel Allerton, North Leeds, it offers a calm residential base with easy access to Leeds city centre and the universities.

I’ve kept the homely feel of the house rather than turning it into a typical holiday let. You’ll find plants and books, as well as carefully chosen vintage and second-hand furniture. It has three bedrooms sleeping up to five people, with a cot available on request for babies.

The house has private, wildlife-friendly front and back gardens. There is one parking space on the driveway, as well as free on-street parking. Superfast Wi-Fi and a workspace make it suitable for work trips too.

Getting around is easy. Frequent buses run along Harrogate Road, and the house is also a short drive or taxi ride from Leeds City Centre, the universities and the hospitals. You get the convenience of the city while staying in a calm, peaceful residential setting.

This is a lovely family home. We enjoyed our stay as grandparents with our daughter and two small grandchildren. It’s a great location too. We walked into Chapel Allerton. It has excellent shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to get into Leeds and Harrogate by bus. Lisa is very friendly and we appreciated all the extra touches that made our stay so relaxing. We shall return!

This is a gem of a find, a real home from home stylishly furnished and on a quiet residential road close to local shops, restaurants and public transport.Lisa is a great host, very responsive and proactive, we loved our postcard note from her, the nod the green living. Her home was super cute and cozy, I lovedddddd the plants and her little notes to let you know what’s what and house rules. She is a wonderful host, I’d stay again and definitely recommend!!! 💛💛💛
